The dry seasons of June–October and December–February offer the most sunshine and calmest seas, perfect for beach time in Nungwi. The green season (March–May and November) brings occasional short showers but fewer crowds and better rates. Avoid the heaviest rains in April if beach relaxation is your main priority.
Arrive in Zanzibar and meet your guide for a morning walking tour of historic Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through narrow winding alleys past ornately carved wooden doors, bustling markets, and centuries-old buildings that reflect Swahili, Arab, Persian, and European influences. Visit the former Sultan's Palace, the House of Wonders, and the Anglican Cathedral built on the site of the old slave market.
