Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, depart Arusha for a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds and life-giving Tarangire River. The park’s landscape is dotted with majestic baobab trees and is home to over 550 bird species, making it a haven for bird enthusiasts. Spend the day on exciting game drives, searching for lions, giraffes, and other wildlife across the savannah. Later, head to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Wake up to the sounds of the bush and enjoy another morning game drive in Tarangire. The park’s unique mix of swamps, grasslands, and woodlands ensures new sightings around every corner. In the afternoon, depart for Ngorongoro and drive up to the crater rim, where cool highland air and breathtaking views await. Dinner and overnight at the campsite near Ngorongoro.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Rise early and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called Africa’s Eden. This natural wonder shelters over 25,000 animals, including lions, buffalo, elephants, and the rare black rhino. Explore the crater floor with its grasslands, forests, and soda lake teeming with flamingos. After a picnic lunch, ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon and bringing your unforgettable camping safari to a close.
