8 Days Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route
8 Days Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route
The Lemosho Route is considered one of the most scenic and best routes for acclimatization on Mount Kilimanjaro. This lesser-traveled trail offers a peaceful ascent and begins with a beautiful trek through untouched rainforest leading to the Shira Plateau.
On the first day, an armed ranger may accompany your group, as the forests near Lemosho Glades are home to elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife.
The 8-day itinerary offers excellent summit success rates by allowing more time for acclimatization and rest before the final ascent.
