Ngorongoro Crater, also called the Unbroken Caldera, is a unique geo-park and UNESCO World Heritage Site located in northern Tanzania, just a 2.5 to 3-hour scenic drive from Arusha with Nashivai Safaris.
Formed two to three million years ago by the collapse of a massive volcano, this breathtaking crater is renowned for its geological wonders and its incredible wildlife density, making it one of Africa’s top safari destinations.
Descending into the Crater is a thrilling journey. Upon reaching the floor, you’ll encounter thriving herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and an astonishing variety of over 500 bird species in their natural habitat.

Early morning after breakfast, you will depart from Arusha to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will first see the view of the beautiful crater at the view point and take stunning photos for memories and a special moment.
You will descend down the crater whereby on the way you will pass several Maasai villages and then down to the floor where you will get a chance to see a huge number of mammals and the animals are easy to spot at this incredible crater floor.
After lunch and an extensive game drive, you will drive back to Arusha which marks the end of your epic adventure.
